HOW TO START

STEP 1.  DOWNLOAD WALLET

Go to the WALLETS page and download the latest wallet version.

STEP 2. SETUP AND SYNCHRONIZATION

Open your downloaded wallet by simply starting the application. Once you started the wallet, it should begin to synchronize automatically, no specific settings are required for sync.

Now you shall encrypt your wallet to keep your money safe and prevent possible attempts to steal your coins or 'wallet.dat' file by anyone else.

Go to "Settings -> Encrypt wallet" and set a password. This password is now the access to your funds. Don't lose or forget your encryption password, otherwise you can't access your coins.

Restart your wallet. Now you see an icon 'Lock' in the right-hand bottom corner of the wallet. That means your wallet is encrypted and currently locked.

STEP 3. PURCHASE AND TRANSFER COINS

You can purchase JMC coins in one of supported exchanges or win a contest or giveaway. Once you purchased JMC coins, you should transfer them to your desktop wallet.

Go to "Receive coins" and create new address. Use this address to withdraw your coins from an exchange.

You'll see new incoming transactions in the wallet after you transferred your coins. As soon as transactions has 6 confirmations, coins are received, and they begin to mature.

STEP 4. STAKE COINS

To be eligible to stake and mint, your coins have to become 'mature'. JMC coins are mature to stake after 7,75 days. That is the reason why minimum staking period is 7,75 days.

So after being in the wallet for 7,75 days, your coin are ready to mint, and there is a chance every 90 seconds (JMC block time) you get a stake.

You need to keep your wallet open and unlocked to make crypto, but if coins are not matured (under 7,75 days), you can close your wallet. This applies to each individual line (transaction) in your wallet.

Guide the cursor on an icon 'Arrow up' in the right-hand bottom corner of the wallet to see if your coins are mature or not.
